Japan 2012

We had the best time in Tokyo 2 weeks ago. Grandpa had a business trip to Yang Jiang, China so we decided to meet in Tokyo for the weekend.  We were so excited to see Grandma and Grandpa and had the most amazing trip.  The Cherry Blossoms only bloom for about 9 days every year and we were LUCKY enough to catch them at the peak time!

We ate all the Tonkatsu we could!

Ford LOVED miso soup

Ginza at night.

Yes, we HAD to get See's!  It cost $23 for 4 pieces of Chocolate, but it was definitely worth it.  Its not Easter without See's.

 Yummy Japanese cake

We rented boats and rowed in the moat of Kitanomaru park.

Grandpa stayed back with Ford and laughed and caught footage of Darnell and I rowing.

This area was called Chidorigafuchi and it was one of the best spots to view the Blossoms!

They even have Cherry Blossom flavored Ice Cream...it was too die for!

On Saturday we visited the Sensoji Temple, it is Tokyo's oldest Temple.

We met some friends along the way.

Harajuku did not disappoint!

Tanner ate here 11 years ago and had to come back.  It is incredible!
